Spencer Cox

Spencer J. Cox is Vice President and General Counsel of CentraCom, a full service telecommunications company with one of the largest fiber optic networks in the state. Spencer was recently elected to the Utah Legislature and has served as a County Commissioner and Mayor. He is also the co-chair of the Governor’s Rural Partnership Board and a member of the Governor’s Economic Council. Prior to joining CentraCom, Spencer practiced law with the law firm Fabian and Clendenin in Salt Lake City.

Spencer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Spanish from Utah State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Washington and Lee University. He was also a law clerk for Federal District Judge Ted Stewart. He enjoys camping and hiking with his wife and four children and playing the bass guitar with his brother in a local rock band.
