Kristy is the Senior Vice President of Education & Operations for Junior Achievement of Utah. She oversees the implementation of the Junior Achievement In-Class and JA City program which reached over 75,000 students in 2,970 classrooms during the 2012/2013 school year. Kristy is also responsible for the accurate registration for all JA K-9 In-Class, JA High School Programs and the JA City and JA Finance Park Programs. Coordinating the needs of volunteers, teachers, principals, school district staff and Board members to ensure a quality program, positive volunteer experience and worthwhile investment is an important part of her job.
Kristy also served as Program Manager and Director of Education for JA. She served as JA volunteer coordinator and program presenter at her children’s elementary school for 10 years. Kristy loves the opportunity to spend time in the classroom bringing the financial literacy lessons to children in Utah.
Kristy loves spending time with her husband, 5 kids and 5 grandkids! She enjoys hiking, biking, baking, reading and quilting – if there’s any spare time?
