Junior Achievement of Utah is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization funded locally by corporations, foundations, individuals and through special events. There are a number of ways to get involved with Junior Achievement of Utah; from volunteering in the classroom to sponsoring students to receive JA programs.
More and more frequently our students are graduating from high school unprepared for the world of work they will eventually enter. Junior Achievement of Utah responds to that need with our programs designed to help students understand the relevancy of what they are learning in school and how to apply it in the real-world, after high school graduation. Donating your time or dollar can change the lives of Utah students by providing them the opportunity to receive tangible lessons in financial literacy, work readiness, entrepreneurship and career exploration.
In the 2016-2017 school year, our programs reached nearly 85,000 students with the support of over 7,600 volunteers. Independent researchers have found that with just two JA experiences, 93% of participating students graduate from high school, compared to the national average of 70%. Make a difference in the life of a Utah student by volunteering or donating today!
