Annual Report for Junior Achievement of Utah and Idaho – 2023-24

Many of the students we serve come to us carrying narratives written by forces beyond their control—stories filled with doubt, fear, and often, despair. We believe the opportunities, mentorship, and education that Junior Achievement provides can give our students hope, empowering them to rewrite their stories.

At Junior Achievement of Utah and Idaho, hope is more than a concept: it is the lifeline we provide to students who need it most. Hope is the belief in a brighter future, a sense of purpose, and a chance to break free from the limitations of inherited circumstances.

By providing students with access to JA’s financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship programs, we offer them the agency to take control of their stories. Through our volunteer-led programs, students receive more than just a set of skills—they are given the tools to transform hope from a dream into a reality. They can find self-belief and a future filled with choice and possibility.

Students, kindergarten through twelfth grade, find hope through our vibrant programs:

  • JA In-Class Programs (K-12)
  • JA City BizTown (5th Grade)
  • JA City Finance Park (8th Grade)
  • JA Inspire Career Planning (Middle and High School)

We are excited to build on our momentum and are committed to instilling hope in students throughout Utah and Idaho. To read further about our impact on our communities this year, you can find our full annual report HERE.
