JA Celebrates Volunteer Champions at Community Heroes Night

We were happy to be part of the Utah Royals Community Heroes Night on August 8th, 2025, where we had the honor of recognizing one of our very own champions: Kim Hannay from Optum Bank, an outstanding supporter, volunteer, and board member of Junior Achievement of Utah. Kim has been a tireless advocate for our mission, dedicating her time, energy, and leadership to inspire and prepare Utah’s youth for a brighter future. Her passion for education and commitment to empowering students has left a lasting impact in classrooms, at JA City, and across our organization. As a valued board member, Kim plays a vital role in shaping our success and expanding our reach. We are deeply grateful for her ongoing support and honored to celebrate her as one of JA’s most remarkable champions. The evening was also a chance to celebrate and show appreciation to the many JA volunteers who joined us at the game. Their dedication makes our mission possible every day.

If you’re looking for a way to give back to our community, we are looking for more volunteers. We believe every child has endless potential, and you can be a part of helping students expand their vision, nourish their minds, and lead them in developing the skills they need to feel empowered to take on the real world.
