Randy Woodbury – Utah Business Hall of Fame 2026 Inductee

Junior Achievement of Utah inducted Randy Woodbury, of Woodbury Corporation, into the Utah Business Hall of Fame in April 2026 at JA City in Salt Lake City.

It was an honor to induct O. Randall Woodbury into our Utah Business Hall of Fame and to celebrate the incredible impact he and the Woodbury Corporation have made in the business community across Utah. As Vice Chairman of Woodbury Corporation, Randy has helped shape communities in Utah and beyond through his leadership and long-standing commitment to individuals. Randy’s leadership reflects a belief that strong communities are built not only through development, but through investment in people. His passion for education and youth development continues to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation, and his belief in experiential learning helped bring Woodbury JA City at University Place to life – creating opportunities for thousands of students to explore their futures through hands-on learning.

Randy’s enduring commitment to helping young people realize their potential makes him incredibly deserving of this recognition. Randy was joined by laureates Ray Pickup, Ron Jibson, Charles Dahlquist, Former Governor Gary Herbert, Kathi Garff, and Crystal Maggelet who served as the honorary chairperson. All of our laureates demonstrate business excellence, courageous thinking and acting, inspired leadership, and community-mindedness. These icons of business are exemplary role models for future generations.

Originally, the Utah Business Hall of Fame was established in 1990 by Junior Achievement of Utah to recognize past and present business leaders for their outstanding and enduring efforts to improve the products, processes, and human relations of business. One of our most critical objectives with the Hall of Fame event is to provide our young people with a better understanding of who the true heroes of Utah are, thus giving these young minds notable examples to emulate.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Delta Air Lines, our title sponsor, for their incredible support of the Hall of Fame evening. We’re also grateful to all of our other sponsors who helped make the night such a meaningful and memorable celebration, namely:

  • The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation
  • Williams
  • Kirton McConkie
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation
  • Utah Valley University
  • WCF
