From Classroom to Courtroom: Inspiring the Next Generation of Legal Leaders

Court was officially in session as students from Capital High School traded their traditional classrooms for the bustling legal world. Thanks to an exciting job shadow opportunity at Kirton McConkie, these students received a fascinating, behind-the-scenes look at what life is truly like inside a major law firm.

But they didn’t just sit back and watch.

The students quickly put their own skills to the test by participating in dynamic mock trials. Stepping into the roles of attorneys and legal professionals, they experienced firsthand how critical thinking, sharp communication, and seamless teamwork play out in a high-stakes courtroom environment. It was an incredible way to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world career paths.

We want to extend a massive thank you to Kirton McConkie for investing their time, expertise, and passion into developing the next generation of professionals. By opening your doors, you are helping students turn today’s curiosity into tomorrow’s careers! We are also grateful to the Boise Sunrise Rotary for sponsoring this opportunity and investing in our students’ futures.
