As students compete for prizes, they will strengthen their civics, writing, and public speaking skills, and form friendships with other young leaders along the way.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>How to Enter:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from public, private, charter, and home schools in participating states are eligible to apply. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students use the instructions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/civics.uschamberfoundation.org\/student-essay-guide\/\">Essay Application Guide<\/a> to submit an application online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications are judged using the Judging Rubric, and the top scoring finalists are invited to advance to a live Bee in their state.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Live Bee Structure<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At live Bees, finalists put their civics knowledge, skills, and disposition to the test.
